Membership in Kappa Alpha Psi is a solemn, lifelong commitment to the ideals of the Fraternity.
Kappa Alpha Psi considers for membership only those aspirants whose personal, social, and academic qualifications are acceptable to both the College and Fraternity.
Our emphasis is not on the accumulation of members, but on the quality and integrity of our membership, an intangible element of brotherhood we call "that Good Old Kappa Spirit."
Membership in an alumni chapter is open to college-educated men who embody the ideals of Kappa Alpha Psi. Here is how the process works.
Contact our Chapter Polemarch or Membership Training Academy (MTA) Chair to express your interest and ask any questions.
Meet the brothers, learn about our programs and community work, and understand the commitment and values membership requires.
Eligible candidates are guided through the official membership process in accordance with the policies of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
Maturity means acceptance of reality, the ability to sacrifice and set goals, consideration of others, incisive judgment, emotional balance, social skill, intellectual competence, and moral rectitude.
Dedication means putting those characteristics into a lifelong program of action to advance the goals and purposes of Kappa Alpha Psi.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the Asheville (NC) Alumni Chapter, reach out to our Chapter Polemarch or MTA Chair. We would be glad to hear from you.
